Training typically takes around 3 hours, followed by a 1-hour assessment. Additional time may be available for the assessment where reasonable adjustments are required.
This qualification can be completed either digitally or through a MITA-approved training provider. Training can be done online at your own pace or in a classroom setting, with the assessment carried out under controlled conditions, including e-proctoring and/or classroom invigilation where required, ensuring integrity and compliance.

Entry Requirements
Qualified MOT Testers (Class 1&2) only. If you qualified within the current training year (1 April to 31 March), you’re exempt from that year’s annual assessment unless your status has lapsed.
Successful completion of this bundle allows learners to continue testing MOT vehicles in Classes 1 and 2 and remain compliant with DVSA annual requirements. It also supports continued professional development and reinforces best practice within the MOT testing environment.
